Apple Valley, California

Springs flowers bloom just over a rocky hillside in the desert outskirts in the town of Apple Valley. Guided by my friend Leo who often wanders through this desert as his own backyard, we watched the sun lower and heat settle on a beautiful Sunday. A perfect way to end a busy weekend.

March 26, 2019

It’s been a rough time to say the least. Life has been increasingly more difficult and often I question if I made the right choices hoping not to hurt anyone in the process. My foundation has been shaken up and it is not until recently that I’ve found my bearings. However it’s through this time I’ve experienced what it means to hold on to hope. The idea of hope is a powerful thing when you have nothing left. It can motivate and spark the fire once inside you that was lost.

Some goals in photography I’d like to improve upon this year are:

  1. Show more faces

  2. Focus on storytelling

  3. Don’t forget the small stuff

  4. Connect - Upload more content, every post isn’t going to be a masterpiece.

  5. Apply for more photography work
